HISTORY
It was a happy coincidence that gave birth to Heinz Consulting, Ltd. In 1995, Mr. Joachim Ludwig Heinz who is at the moment the President of our company, visited Irkutsk for the first time. He was attracted by the mysterious land of Siberia and the magnificent purest water reservoir of the planet — the Baikal Lake. The beauty of the nature and uniqueness of the people in the region appealed to him so much that after a short consideration, he decided to move to Irkutsk.
Mr. Heinz worked as a freelance psychiatry councellor in Germany, also with leaders from different organizations. When in Irkutsk, Joachim started to actively support the development of cultural connections between the Baikal Region and Germany. This activity expanded gradually and led to business consulting in organizational development, including strategic planning, marketing, organizational structure, distribution of duties, recruitment, assessment and human resources development.

Joachim and Elena helped top managers improve their staff motivation, decision making and leadership skills. These services proved to be of great demand. One of the first clients of Heinz Consulting mentioned recently that he is still getting insights and answers to some of the current burning questions in the reports by Heinz-Consulting as far back as 10 years ago.
The first big projects by Heinz Consulting were realized in 1999 in Krasnoyarsk and Irkutsk. The first workshops, as well as the name and the logo of Heinz Consulting were developed around the same time. This is why we consider 1999 the birth year of our consulting centre. Since 2002, the company operates as Heinz Consulting, Ltd.
The problem is that our social structure, our economic system, is tribal and competitve in nature and encourages us to be competitive between one another, as people and as organizations. I think we have reached a stage in the world when competitiveness is getting more and more inappropriate and we've got to focus much more on taking care of the human family.
