SEVEN STYLES IN LEADERSHIP AND DECISION-MAKING

Workshop

We need strong leaders who welcome changes, doubts and contradictions, who do not perceive the individual as a threat, who value people responsible for themselves, and take uncertainty as a chance.

Reinhard K.Sprenger

For those who want to be aware of their management and decision-making style.

This workshop is an experimental field in which the participants live through the 7-step evolution of decision-making styles — from «Order» to «Team responsibility».

Every style is experienced both as a leader and subordinate. Besides, you can learn the capacity of each style as a leadership tool and get a view of the evolutionary movement to organizational democracy.

The dynamic of the workshop is supported with physical warm-ups, lateral thinking games, cases for creativе problem-solving and many other exercises. This makes the learning process relaxed, interesting, emotional.

You will get aware:

  • why a decision-making style is a powerful managerial tool

  • on what the evolution of decision-making styles is based

  • how your subordinates can react to this or that style and whywhen it is better to make decision alone, and when to involve the ideas and potential of others

  • to what extent and in what form you can involve your subordinates in the decision-making process

  • what techniques and procedures you can use individually and in a group to make better decisions

  • what style is characteristic of you at the current stage of your managerial development

You will train:

  • each of the seven styles of decision-making

  • effective techniques for individual and group decision-making

About competition

The problem is that our social structure, our economic system, is tribal and competitve in nature and encourages us to be competitive between one another, as people and as organizations. I think we have reached a stage in the world when competitiveness is getting more and more inappropriate and we've got to focus much more on taking care of the human family.
